This project showcases a comprehensive UI/UX design process, from ideation to wireframing and high level design, all managed independently. The focus is on creating a user-centric platform that intelligently curates relevant articles and videos, presented in a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate interface. The design embodies a down-to-earth aesthetic, seamlessly reflecting the project's core values while prioritizing functionality and user satisfaction.
In the current volatile landscape, users are inundated with a multitude of news articles and videos, many of which are irrelevant or potentially fake. Additionally, time constraints prevent individuals from dedicating extensive periods to reading lengthy news articles.
To design a user-friendly platform tailored for reading or listening to news articles that are personalized to match the user's interests.
I aim to fuse the fluidity of a news app with the connectivity of a social media platform, crafting a distinctive digital space that bridges the gap between these two realms.
Following initial ideation through paper sketching, I explored various design concepts, incorporating feedback from peers and drawing inspiration from platforms like Dribbble. Through iterative refinement, I crafted wireframes infused with elements reminiscent of popular social media platforms.
I aimed to highlight the benefits of employing a card design approach, ensuring users swiftly grasp the essence of each news article. By meticulously adjusting spacing, every piece of information is given ample room to breathe, enhancing readability and user experience. Additionally, incorporating quick actions empowers users to interact with posts seamlessly, fostering a personalized connection with their news feed.
